The Role:

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist  to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. This candidate will be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech and of the team responsible to respond, investigate and resolve user questions and system problems. The candidate must provide fast and efficient technical assistance to minimize business interruption due to problems with the systems and devices and resolve escalated issues. 

It is responsible for installing and configuring devices for new and existing users, and will be the operating hand for deployments, endpoint hardening processes, meeting room devices, printers and additional hardware.  S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. 

This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and loving technology.

What will I do?

  1. Ability to support all desktop end-user technologies including Hardware, Software & Network devices
  2. Ability support multiple types of hardware (Mac/macOS knowledge is required)
  3. Ability to work collaboratively & coordinate with the other technical teams and provide resolution to end users
  4. Builds computers and roll out needed software to users
  5. Excellent customer focus and a willingness to deliver high quality outcomes
  6. Excellent customer service skills that combine issue ownership, problem solving and communication skills.
  7. Strong documentation skills for the tracking of issues and resolutions
  8. Creative approach to technology possibilities
  9. Good judgment in proactively identifying issues, escalating and/or recommending solutions

Technical knowledge:

  1. 3+ years of IT related work experience
  2. General working knowledge of desktop applications and concepts such as MS-Office, patch management understanding, networking concepts, file and print shares, and active directory
  3. General Networking knowledge (VLANs, WAPs)
  4. Must be familiar to MDM & Monitoring tools
  5. Must be accurate and detail oriented
  6. 4+ years of experience with PC support (macOS & Win)
  7. Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills are essential
